Explosion protected ATEX-aluminum enclosures are conform to the norm
94/9/EB and can be offered as empty
enclosures or connection boxes in
combination with approved Ex-components. Compliance with the essential health
and safety requirements has been assured by conformity with EN 60079-0:2009, EN
60079-7:2007 and EN 60079-31:2009. All types comply with the newest
requirements of explosion prevention and protection and fulfill the
requirements of explosion protection for equipment group II and category 2G,
type of protection increased safety and category 2D with protection by
enclosures.
Empty
enclosures conform to the EC-type examination certificate IBEXU 10 ATEX 1158 U
and can be offered with the following markings:

All enclosures comply with the protection class IP 66 according to DIN 40050. The lid screws cannot be lost and are made of stainless steel. The fastening grooves are situated outside the seal range.
